2023 DRI Asbestos Seminar
The 2023 DRI Asbestos Medicine Seminar is being held in Austin, Texas. The conference invites practitioners in asbestos litigation to explore challenges and opportunities in the field. The focus this year is on a case involving a young female mesothelioma plaintiff with unique factors like a genetic mutation, direct talc exposure, and bystander friction exposure. Attendees will learn from renowned pathologist Dr. Michele Carbone, navigate various case aspects, position themselves for success, defend corporate representatives, and understand jury valuation. The event also includes networking opportunities, a meet-and-greet with Dr. Carbone, and sessions on diversity initiatives.
